Dude: Contrary to what you seem to think, enforcing the 14th Amendment is not judicial activism or “creating new rights” or “legislating from the bench,” no matter how many times Republicans claim otherwise. And the fact that I, a Republican for cryin’ out loud, even have to explain this to you helps explain why your base is so ticked at you, no matter how many times Rahm Emanuel claims it’s some other reason.
