Welcome to the new digs.
I’d been thinking about converting to WordPress ever since I first saw it. But Earthlink, my ISP, doesn’t support PHP or MySQL in its personal Web-site servers, so I stayed with Blogger.
But I recently found out that WP has free hosting, just as Blogger does. That, combined with Earthlink’s ridiculously low max capacity of 10 megs for personal Web space, which Blog on the Run was starting to bump up against before I Reloaded it in February, convinced me to move.
My original template didn’t carry over, but I’m not going to worry about that right now. Maybe later.
Neither did comments, although I might be able to go back to Blogger and get them. If not, oh, well.
If you link to me or subscribe to my feed, please update your links, bookmarks and RSS subscriptions. (The link to the new feed is over in the column on the right.) If you think you need to do that but don’t know how, leave a comment with the spam-proof version of your e-mail address and I’ll send you suggestions.
