I thought there was a relatively small but still significant group of Americans whom Sarah Palin could not alienate no matter how idiotic, self-absorbed and paranoid she could be.

I was wrong, and I sincerely apologize. Hee.

  1. Greetings from the Left Coast where it’s cold and rainy, but Sarah is hated with a passion which warms my cockles.

  2. I’ll thank you to leave your cockles out of this blog’s discussions, sir. ;-)

  3. She’s stupid, idiotic, self-absorbed, and paranoid because….

Some factual basis would be nice. I’m willing to bet her grades were better than yours and she has accomplished more than you have.

It’s easy to buy into the media narrative because its so widespread. Much harder to back up your opinion with the facts, especially when it comes to Sarah Palin who has had more lies told about her than any public figure in my lifetime.

  4. Sam, after 50 years, I can recognize idiotic, self-absorbed and paranoid when I see/hear it.

As for my grades? High school: 4.77 GPA on a 4.0 scale, 4th in a class of 630, National Honor Society, accepted at Princeton, Duke, Davidson, Wake and UNC; rejected nowhere. College: 3.22 GPA at Davidson while working 40+ hours per week in radio, 20 miles off campus, to pay the bills and still graduate in the standard four years … which she, to be polite about it, didn’t do.

And, yeah, she has accomplished more than I inasmuch as she has convinced close to three-quarters of the country that she’s a moron while I have not. But, hey, actuarially speaking, I’ve still got time.

  5. My deepest apologies, warm though they be.

  6. Again, I suppose you’re back to deleting comments that refute your claims. Do you really think you are an honest person when you do such things? Did they teach you that as a debate tactic at Davidson? I doubt it.

    • When you learn the difference between “rebut” and “refute,” maybe we’ll talk about it.
