Memo to wingnuts

Let me see if I can put this … politely

I understand that when you’re a candidate in an election, it’s perfectly acceptable to talk about “taking out” your incumbent opponent.

But when you talk about “Second Amendment remedies” and then, in the next sentence, talk about taking out your incumbent opponent, you … well, at the least, you run a significant risk of being misunderstood.

UPDATE: Indeed, you run a significant risk of being misunderstood even by your own party:

[Radio talk-show host Lars] Larson says Angle was floating the possibility of armed insurrection if Congress keeps it up under Reid et al.

“If it continues to do the things it’s doing, I think she’s leaving open that possibility,” Larson said. “And I think the founders believed that the public should be able to do that when the government becomes out of control. It just matters what you define as going too far.”
